Chief Commercial Officer for Bragg Oryx Gaming Chris Looney commented on the need to grow their gaming provision in the industry. They are also looking to provide the latest quality content to online gaming players. He also noted that Switzerland is a market that has so much potential according to statistics and is yet to be explored.

The Interlaken partnership with Braggs Oryx has brought good news to online Casino’s players as they will have access to the exclusive remote gaming server(RGS) content from Armenia-based studios Peter and Sons, German online Casino developer Gemomat, Giveme Games, Golden Hero, and Kalamba Games in line with Oryx proprietary slots portfolio.

Certification

The delivery of this deal was made possible in July 2020 and came into effect on the 1st of July 2019 permitting only land-based casinos to secure licenses. This was because the partnership required certification for it to be implemented. It was certified with Oryx’s ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

This was to effect the security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as well as the International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) which is commonly used as a benchmark regulator in Switzerland as a regulatory body of the Swiss online gaming market.

An in-depth look

According to the findings of Oryx, the gaming revenue coming from the seven brick-and-mortar gaming houses that had offered online gaming in Central European countries in 2020 had reached gross gaming revenue(GGR) of approximately US$203 million (CHF186.8 million) as was released by the Swiss gambling regulator. This compared to the US $26 million (CHF23.5 million) that was generated a year before when the casinos operating online were fewer in Switzerland according to reports. The revenue has increased with the increase in online casinos.

Chief Operating Officer at Interlaken Jens Sellgrad commented on the supply deal noting that they have confidence in this agreement with Oryx since so far the delivery has been seamless. Oryx are expected to deliver in accordance with their agreement the latest available quality content to their online gaming players.

The Chief Operating Officer also explained that the delivery of iGaming supply by Oryx has been impressive so far which makes them confident that the solid start that has been experienced will be replicated as their relationship progresses in the years to come.

Currently, Oryx Gaming is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), Greek Hellenic Commission (HGC), and Romanian National Gambling Office. Its content has been either approved or certified in other various jurisdictions which are key in its operation. The new deal will see it expand its involvement in the fast-growing gaming industry.
