What all versions share
A wheel with numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero (European or French) or a zero and double zero (American). Inside bets are on single numbers or small groups; outside bets on red or black, odd or even, high or low, dozens and columns. In live games bets close when the timer ends.
Variants and their rule changes
| Game | Studio | Rule change | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lightning Roulette | Evolution | 1 to 5 numbers struck each round with multipliers of 50x to 500x; straight-ups pay 29:1 otherwise | RTP about 97.3%, higher variance |
| Quantum Roulette | Playtech | Random multipliers on numbers | Lower base payout on straight-ups; check RTP |
| Double-ball roulette | Several studios | Two balls per spin | New bets on both balls; payouts and edge differ |
| French roulette | Several studios | La Partage or En Prison on even-money bets | Even-money edge about 1.35% |
How a round runs
- Choose a chip value and place bets before the timer ends.
- In multiplier games, the struck numbers and multipliers are revealed before the spin.
- The ball lands and winning bets are paid automatically.
- Check the history panel if you like, but remember previous spins do not affect the next.
Stakes and side bets
Multiplier games spread their return across rare big wins, so you will lose more often between hits. Keep stakes smaller than at a standard wheel and keep side bets separate in your budget. Even-money bets on a French table with La Partage are the cheapest roulette bet you can make.
